Bio

M.C. Morrison is an abstract artist, film-maker and slam poet whose works integrate the spiritual, political and humorous with commentary on the complexity of human relationships. She has taught Guerilla Film at the college level and she has directed several independent films, including the award-winning "Drive", "Never Again", "How To Pick Up Girls: A Guide for the Dating Impaired", and most recently "What Is Beauty?" In addition, Passion Fruit Studios does commercial and promotional work for non-profits and businesses.

Her abstract art has been featured in galleries, loft spaces, businesses and modern houses of worship. In works such as "God Outside the Box"," Faith" and "Cosmos" the viewer is invited to find the Divine in all circumstances, including the depths of adversity. Some of her art is meant to incite the viewer to outrage or to change. "Erotica" and " Love Hurts" examine the darkest side of erotic relationships --- while "Envy", " I Can't Figure You Out" and "Martian Spring" invite viewers to look at the mirthful side of love.

Passion Fruit Studios paintings and new works can be viewed in featured galleries and by appointment. Large scale paintings and murals may be commissioned. You can contact M.C. Morrison through this website.
